TRANSIT'S FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I acquire Quotations?
For free Quotations please contact Transit Scenic Tours by Faxing us your Charter details.

What is the response time?
Transit Scenic Tours fast and efficient staff can often have the costing of your excursion back to you on the same day.

How do I make a booking?
Once a Quotation has been accepted, simply Fax the Signed Quotation Form back to Transit Scenic Tours office Signed and Accepted and we will Confirm the booking Immediately by return Fax ensuring your peace of mind.

What if my group have some special requirements?
Should your group have any special requests or needs, such as extra comfort stops, wheelchair accessibility, morning tea provided or Driver's commentary, simply advise Transit Scenic Tours when faxing in your initial enquiry.

How much will it cost?
This naturally depends on how far you are travelling, how big a coach you need to book etc. Rest assured, Transit Scenic Tours' costing is both competitive as well as priced to ensure no corners are cut in our Quality and Service Standards.

How do I make a payment?
Transit Scenic Tours normally requires payment on, or just prior to, the excursion date. We accept Cash, Cheque or Electronic Fund Transfer, whichever suits your groups' needs. Should you wish to set up an account with us, due to the frequency of your future bookings with us, simply ask us at the time of your enquiry.

How soon do I need to book?
Booking your Charter often depends on the availability of our luxury coaches on that particular date. Even though you are dealing with a major coach charter company, Transit Scenic Tours can and does get booked out on special days. Therefore we ask you to give us as much time as is possible between your initial enquiry and your excursion date(s). Please rest assured, we do not double book, nor do we accept work which may jeopardise our high service standards.

Are seatbelts a legal requirement?
At this stage, the New South Wales Government has not made the wearing of seatbelts compulsory on coaches. Even so, many of our coaches are equipped with seatbelts, which especially cater for the many younger school children we carry. Transit Scenic Tours recognises that safety is the Number 1 reason people travel with us and we ask that you advise us if seatbelts are required so that we may allocate the right coach for your charter.

How do I plan Itineraries?
If you have not planned a trip away before, or you and your group have selected a new destination, why not ask for our unbiased assistance?. Transit Scenic Tours have been in the bus and coach business for over 70 years and our Customer Service levels are recognised as second to none. So why not contact us and let us build a memorable itinerary together?.

Are Quotations Obligations?
Quite simply, Transit Scenic Tours does not consider a Quotation as a Booking unless it has been confirmed in writing by fax, email or regular post. That way, you have complete peace of mind that Transit will be there exactly as you wished.

How about videos, DVD's etc on the journey?
If you have any movies, or dvd's that you wish to play during your coach charter, simply advise us at the time of your enquiry. Transit Scenic Tours wants your excursion to be as enjoyable as is possible; therefore we will ensure that these facilities are made available for your coach charter.

Do I need to pay for road tolls, entrance fees etc?
Where there is a requirement for our coach (es) to use a tollway, there may be times when the toll charges are and will be added to your Invoice. However, there are many instances where tollways do not need to be utilised or when we may use a more direct option. Please feel free to discuss this with the Transit Scenic Tours staff member at your leisure.
Where entrance fees are applicable, it is often best for your group or team leader to pay these costs. The receipt for these fees is then issued to the leader in the name of the group, rather than in our name as is often the case. Should you wish Transit Scenic to pay the fees, then they can be added to the charter cost with a small administration charge.
